Robert W. Bradshaw Jr. Public Administration Fellowship

History

Former Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot and his wife Judy established this fellowship and accompanying Robert W. Bradshaw Distinguished Professorship in 2009 to honor Richard Vinroot’s long-time mentor and law partner.  Bradshaw served as chairman of the state Republican Party under Governor James G. Martin, and was a founding partner of Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, one of Charlotte’s largest law firms. In addition to his political activity, Bradshaw served on the boards of many nonprofit organizations, including the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Central Piedmont Community College, and the Levine Museum of the New South.
