Susan Fowler is an adjunct instructor for the MPA Program. She is a self-employed facilitator, organizational consultant, and educator with experience in the nonprofit and public sectors. Her work has included a variety of strategic planning, evaluation, and program planning projects, as well as group facilitation, team building, and design and facilitation for learning events. Susan's projects have included facilitating the work of public-private partnerships and community collaborations. She served for many years as a member and officer of the Board of Directors for the Self-Help Credit Union and the Board of Directors for Community Independent School. Susan began her working life as a carpenter and co-founder of Space Builders Inc., an employee-owned design and construction firm, and she continues to keep a hand in her family’s construction company, New Dimensions Construction. Susan earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester and an M.Ed. from UNC-Chapel Hill.
