Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

As an adjunct instructor in the School's online Master of Public Administration program, Ana-Laura Diaz teaches Law for Public Administration and Mediation for Public Managers. In addition to teaching, Diaz works as an in-house attorney.

She joined the School of Government in 2016. Previously, Diaz worked in tech, renewable energy, for the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, USAID, the University of North Carolina Office of University Counsel, and in private practice.

Diaz earned bachelor's and MBA degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill and a law degree from the University of Miami.
